Hi, I’m Gabby—15 year old owner of Partridge Animal Care and your local Metamora animal‑behavior nerd. I’ve spent more than ten years working with dogs, horses, and all kinds of critters, and nothing makes me happier than helping families understand their pets better. Whether I’m teaching a shy dog to feel brave or guiding a new puppy through their first groom, I focus on kindness, clarity, and communication. Partridge Animal Care is my way of giving back to the community I grew up in—supporting pets, supporting people, and making sure everyone feels welcome and cared for.
This is Bobo, my service dog of seven years. I’ve groomed and trained him independently for as long as I’ve owned him. He’s a unique mix of Airedale Terrier, Bichon Frise, and Standard Poodle — a combination that makes for a very tricky coat, but also gave me early confidence working with complex grooming needs.
Bobo is fully trained, including all of his task work for my medical needs and advanced obedience such as ignoring distractions, staying neutral around other dogs, and maintaining focus in busy environments. He wasn’t always this steady — he used to struggle with dog reactivity, and helping him work through that taught me patience, problem‑solving, and how to build behavior change that lasts.
He’s the reason Partridge Animal Care exists. Managing him showed me that the progress I was seeing wasn’t luck or “just Bobo,” but real, transferable skill. Working with him opened the door to helping other dogs and their people, and eventually grew into the business I run today.
